Journey beyond the cacti of life to feed your inner lotus! Join us in the vast solitude of the prairie grasslands for an immersive 3-day retreat as we examine the prickly aspects within and cultivate introspection.
Cactus & Lotus Wellness Retreats are hosted and facilitated by Diana Chabros, BFA, M.Ed, owner of Sky Story B&B/Studio. Diana is a professional land-based artist who has studied under respected Indigenous Elders and Tibetan Buddhist teachers. She is also a traditionally trained Yoga educator and a longtime meditation practitioner.
Registrants will use reflective walking in the grasslands, simple breath and visualization meditations, dream inquiry and the unique practice of intuitive process painting to awaken creativity, navigate personal challenges, investigate dreams and explore their inner landscapes.
Fee to honour the weekend: $1,045
Non-accommodation $695
Early bird $945 before July 24 with accommodations
Includes all materials, Saturday lunch, evening potluck supper and nutritious grazing Sunday.
Location: Sky Story Studio, 103 1st Avenue, Val Marie, SK and Grasslands National Park
Art, Yoga or Meditation experience not required.
