Indigenous Culture Walk

Join renowned interdisciplinary artist, and master storyteller, Joseph Naytowhow for a guided cultural experience (drive and
walk) in Grasslands National Park. Registrants will be introduced to indigenous culture and the ways of the land according to nehiyaw/Cree worldview. Session will include traditional music, local and Saskatchewan history, traditional smudge, and of course, ‘season appropriate’ stories! Registrants provide own transportation. Pre-payment required for Joseph’s time, and travel to Grasslands (cash, credit card, cheque or-etransfer)
Minimum age: 10 yrs. Bring water, bagged snacks, camera. Wear long pants, sturdy shoes, light gloves, and bring your mask. Homemade trail mix and walking sticks provided. Note: Traditional protocol is conducted on behalf of registrants.
