Grasslands Meditation: Exploring Our Inner Realms with Brenda Feuerstein

This one day in-studio workshop will introduce you to Mindfulness Meditation and breathing practices known to foster more joy in day-to-day life. Research has proven that benefits include improved sleep, better focus, balanced emotions and reduced stress. Participants will also enjoy enhanced awareness as they traverse Grasslands National Park! Using meditation and forms of breath to connect to the land, participants will encourage more ease and relaxation, both within and without.
What You’ll Need to Bring:
A non-breakable water vessel, pen and paper, a blanket, a cushion to sit on, and your favourite Yoga mat if you have one. Some mats and cushions supplied by Sky Story.
Accommodation/Workshop Package $365 includes: Workshop registration, two nights accommodation for one, two breakfasts, and healthy workshop snack. Limited to 7 registrants. The principle teacher of Traditional Yoga Studies, Brenda Feuerstein is internationally respected for her work with her late husband, Dr. Georg Feuerstein who wrote 52 books on the history and philosophy of Yoga. A long time teacher and practitioner of meditation, Brenda is the author of The Yoga-Sutra from a Woman’s Perspective, co-author of The Matrix of Yoga, The Bhagavad-Gita: A New Translation, Green Yoga, and Green Dharma with Georg Feuerstein, Ph.D.
